I started my consulting firm in 1992 after a career as a subcontractor. My goal was to help contractors and owners avoid costly claims and litigation by educating them on the benefits of proper documentation of issues. Whenever claims are unavoidable, I investigate the issues in dispute, analyze the facts and assemble the support documents to prepare or defend their claims.

I have worked with satisfied clients and their attorneys throughout the US and Canada, helping resolve disputes on numerous projects through settlement conferences, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

My educational seminars focus on reducing risk in construction by properly documenting issues in accordance with the contract to recover extra costs and avoid losses on projects.

I hope you will invite me to work with your construction team to share my insights and help you to improve the management of critical issues on projects because, as I have learned…

“what is common sense is not common practice!”
